I’m a learning professional with 10+ years of experience crafting engaging eLearning and training solutions for academic and corporate audiences. I apply ADDIE and SAM methodologies to design action-oriented & performance-driven eLearning experiences using Articulate Storyline 360, Rise 360, and Camtasia.
I believe in a thorough needs analysis, clear learner outcome alignment, action mapping, and multimedia integration to enhance learner engagement, providing the tools they need to make an impact in the real-world. I’m passionate about developing learner-centric eLearning solutions that solve real problems and get real results. How exactly?
Having spent more than a decade in both collegiate and corporate settings, I know what works and what doesn’t. What doesn’t? A droning voice over a boring list of bullet points. What does? Real-world, action-oriented instruction woven into a compelling narrative structure that pulls learners into a world that reflects their real lives.
That’s what I build.

Freelance Instructional Design
2022-Present
As a freelance instructional designer, I’ve worked with small companies and nonprofits to design courses, information products, and educational & marketing materials. I designed the website of Salt of the Earth Halotherapy & Spa, as well as their marketing materials and internal documents. See more here.
I also created eLearning experiences covering hurricane preparation, safe & responsible medication disposal, and a course for project managers on incorporating AI.
Most recently, I’ve been working with Inwater Research Group to create a Storyline experience for their educational outreach on sea turtles.

M.A. Cultural Studies
2015-2017
At KHU, I studied cultural studies and critical theory. These topics and concepts help to analyze and understand groups of people and the different social, political, and cultural contexts in which they live, in order to create compelling, real-life educational programs that are engaging and effective.
Florida State University
B.A. English Literature
At FSU, I studied English Literature with a minor in Spanish. As a young man, I craved knowledge and exposure to a variety of life experiences, and literature provided this in spades. The foundation of my lifelong passion at the intersection of education and art.
